The Peters Creek Road Sewer Project along Peters Creek Road in Roanoke, VA consisted of over 3,000 LF of pipeline being replaced by a larger pipe which was also being lowered as much as 4 feet in areas. With existing commmunication, water, sewer and natural gas lines creating conflicts much of the line was laid in the travel lanes of the street. The vast majority of the project had a natural gas line within 6 feet of the new trench. Rock Tec has experience blasting in close proximity to sensitive structure and was able to drill and blast to allow the contractor to install the new sewer line to the desired depths and location.
